EXTRACT FROM THE STATUTES

The objectives of the Foundation are the following:

  • inform on the subject of wool in Europe and draw the attention of the authorities to the urgent need to regulate this sector and reduce wool waste to a minimum, under the Malpenga Declaration, currently annexed 6;
  • promote the use of indigenous wool in therapeutic knitting, crochet knitting, compressed wool knitting for health programs and other social programs locally;
  • to promote, support, and develop public benefit purposes such as the wool problem in Europe, health, social, humanitarian, educational, cultural, environmental, and health purposes;
  • to support commercial and non-commercial development projects and products, which adopt a philosophy of social and environmental responsibility;
  • to support wool-related research and development in Europe and for public benefit purposes and development projects as mentioned above;
  • financially support through loans or donations individuals or groups of individuals who work or have worked or contributed to similar purposes as mentioned above and such support may specifically, but not limited to, cover specific costs, such as health, care, legal, expenses, housing expenses, cultural expenses, education and training expenses, giving emphasis and priority to individuals and groups of people who work or have worked or contributed to functions and purposes similar to the purposes mentioned above.
