O bem-estar pessoal e a solidariedade,
Launching Therapeutic Knitting at the Champalimaud Foundation
We are delighted to announce the launch of therapeutic knitting at the Champalimaud Foundation for its patients
starting on 28 October 2026!
Through the simple, mindful act of knitting with natural wool, we hope to create moments of calm, connection and creativity, offering participants an opportunity to slow down, express themselves and experience the well-being benefits of working with their hands.
This initiative is another step towards marking both Breast Cancer Awareness Month and #WoolMonth and bringing the therapeutic potential of wool and fibre crafts into healthcare settings, fostering human connection and well-being, one stitch at a time.
